brownigirl (Joyce Sullivan) I am a native of Massachusetts and have been creating art for the public since 2005. I live on beautiful Cape Cod. I was widowed in 2018 and that was a trying time for me. In 2023 I met another widower and we fell in love and are now a couple. My husband Gary has a tugboat, which he built over a 7 year time frame. Many of my scenes are from my photos taken from the tug.
I have been featured in the Barnstable Patriot as well as Cape Cod Life Magazine. When I am not in my studio, you can find me kayaking, shellfishing, crabbing and spending time with my family.
Thank you all for the great support you have shown me. Many of my paintings have found a home in local and foreign houses. I have been painting all winter and I am offering my acrylic as well as soft pastels and oils featuring the many aspects of the Cape.
